I LOVE little gadgets like this because I travel a ton and am always looking to refine my tactical tool belt (aka business backpack). I like to travel light but have essentials like a second monitor, hdmi adapters and presentation speakers to ensure I can present well to customers whether onsite or remote.

One of the most important things for me is power for cellphones. So I have wall adapters, wireless powerbanks and plenty of USb cords to charge both lightning and USBC products.

This like power bank was featured on TikTok and I instantly though about how great it will be for my iPhone that has the MagSafe ability.

It is the perfect size. Slim, lightweight, but sturdy. Its hard plastic on all sides but the charging side. It has a soft, rubberized side that will ensure you don’t scratch your naked phone (but who am I kidding…you all have phone covers). There is one usbc port for charging the unit and a button to check the power level based on the 4 indicator LEDs.

I’ve used it a couple of times so far and it is really seamless. You align the MagSafe lines to your phone and it magnetically connects to your iPhone. The phone charging indicator comes on and the battery packs LEDs all light up.

Here’s where every thing heats up…literally.

The phone and the charger get hot. If you keep it in your pocket, you may feel uncomfortable. If it’s in the middle of winter and you need a hand-warmer this will definitely bring some comfort.

For me, it makes me concerned that it could cause damage. To the phone, to the charger, to the human carrying it or the place where it is resting. This may be a thing with all wireless chargers, but for one that goes in my pocket,,,I’m not that big of a fan.

I would have given it 5 stars… was tempted to give it 1. So I just ended up sticking in the middle at 3.

I’ll update if I find this isn’t what should be happening.

Product is light weight and slimmest powerbank in the market.
material feels very premium. Magnet has good power to hold the mobile.

Just received this to replace another same type battery but that one would go on then just shut off for no apparent reason. I do have an IP-12 and i use a pretty heavy case so i wasn’t sure how these type of batteries were going to work.
I installed the metal ring on back of case and as it held battery ok it just wouldn’t charge. So i bought this Anker to try it as i do like Anker batteries. Well right away it stuck right to my case and immediately started to charge. I was still skeptical. I just waiting to see if it shuts off and it never really did. Yes it gets warm just like the other battery, but that’s the characteristic of this type of charging. But I have to tell you this thing grips much better than the other battery I had, maybe it has something to do with being a MagSafe battery I don’t know that’s why I wanted to try the Anker as its not a Magsafe but a Maggo and boast that it has a much stronger magnet, and I can Contest to that. It’s not the fastest charger but it does charge. It is probably taking me an hour and a half hour to go from 60% to 95% for me that’s OK. It’s meant to be more of a rescue battery to basically get you through the rest of your day, my phone that has relatively small battery. This battery probably would charge it fully but The newer phones have larger batteries. This probably will maybe get you 80% which is just enough to get you through the rest of your day.
Yes, heat is a factor and some people complain about it and some people understand It’s a necessary phenomenon in this kind of charging, this case with the heat temperature gun i saw
134 degrees at its peak but it does go thru cycles of heat and cool as internal thermostat kicks in. To me thats a minor inconvenience, but it does not heat up your phone. The heat stays within the battery itself and it does not radiate to your phone. So far so good i using it now to write this and as the charge percent is not rising as fast as it did when I wasn’t using the phone. It’s basically holding the percent at one particular spot right now.
So in closing, if you have a heavy duty case, try it, it might work get the rings and put them on the back of your case and see what happens. My rings came with a template which is not easy to use with a heavier case so what I did is I attach the ring to the actual battery And I moved the battery on the back of the case where I found a nice spot where the phone always went on charge every time I hit that spot and then I remove the plastic on the ring went back to push the battery down on that spot removed it push the ring down by hand make sure it was good And that’s it, sometimes that’s more accurate than using a template. I do agree that the thickness of the case plays a big roll in whether this will work or not, but what do you got to lose if it doesn’t work you can return the battery or buy a new case that’s thinner and will work better.

Good MagSafe charger, comfortable during charging and holding, also its easy to travel with only Type-C cable and charge the phone overnight using MagSafe, however it gets a bit too hot that could be annoying in a warm weathers if you have phone in a pocket

I got this on a deal and concerned I received a defective unit. It will quit charging my phone after a few minutes and shut off. The battery pack has been on the charger most the day before attempting to use it. Im using the cord that came with the battery pack and have plugged in to different charging cubes, so who knows.

    Updated review
Anker reached out and offered a full refund or product replacement. Great customer service and is why I always buy from them.

My friend was always carrying a bulky battery pack with her. But now she has this slim and lightweight pack that is perfect for her.

  7. Satisfied Customer

This product is amazing. Compact but reliably chargers the phone quickly and enough. Can get a little hot if you use the phone while charging (duh) but the MagSafe ability is so great. I can shake it like crazy and even throw it across a room and it stays on. Not to mention, this has saved me on a number of occasions. Yes it doesn’t hold much, but it’s compact, effective, and easy

I have an iPhone 12 and the portable charger works and feels perfect. Not too bulky but just good enough and has a nice finish on the MagSafe part. Charges the phone at a normal pace really helps when your battery dies but the unit itself charges slow. The charging port is two-way meaning it can charge and be charged from the same port. Also I have no clue what they made this of but if it ever falls on something solid I guarantee that your neighbor five doors down would hear it.

  9. Vineeth

Although its limited to 7.5W of wireless charge, its very convenient for that extra boost to keep going. Sure there’s heat, but that’s basic physics. Anyone looking for a minimalistic EDC needs this. The silicon backing that mates to your phone provides good contact and the magnet is strong. Slim design makes holding your phone and the power bank very comfortable. Even on an S24+, the battery works well. Looking forward to trying out the 10mAh slim wireless power bank.

شكله جميل و رفيع بس بطئ في الشحن شويا

Works great. I have an iPhone 13 pro and this pack took me from 8% to just shy of 100%. It gets slightly warm but not hot as others have said. Maybe the heating issues and the pack kit charging your device as well arise the older the battery pack gets? But off of my first few uses it’s worked perfectly and I love the slim design. It fits in my pocket without a big bulge and I can still usually use my phone in hand or place it in my pocket without issue
