Good sized screen. I like the touchpad. Has enough ports. I thought it had a backlight, but it doesnt, that was important to me. Also, the numerical keypad is different than the one I was using so its taking some getting used to. Sound is not the best. Design is ok, weight is ok. Like the cloud back up, conneced to my phone easily. Good enough for the price. Was delivered quick.

I haven’t used Windows for years, but I was looking for a low-cost laptop as a backup in case my MacBook was in for repair. I must have a working laptop at all times. I do notice the graphics on this laptop are inferior to my Mac, but that is to be expected for the price. I am not a gamer, nor will I use this laptop for extensive video editing. This is a great machine for social media surfing, emailing, blogging, word processing, etc. I video conference quite often, and the camera is fine. However, the volume is relatively low, even at its highest level. I had to lean in to hear if I was on a call with a soft-speaking individual. I downloaded a volume-amplifying app that helped. I know headphones would help, but I don’t particularly appreciate wearing them.

For the price it’s offering, this PC is fantastic. For people who don’t need to do any intense activities, the computer works great. However, if you need it for things like programming, I’d do a little more research on how much RAM you need since 8GB wasn’t enough for my use. The storage size is also pretty small, so keep that in mind. That said, it’s an overall great PC that beats out lots of other computers within its price range

Tiene un rendimiento muy muy bueno, no se ha trabado para absolutamente nada, ahora quien se ha quedado lento es mi internet jaja, su calidad en todo sentido es excelente, lo que no me agrada del todo es su cargador, pero, sin duda es lo mejor para el precio, sobretodo aquí en México que para ese precio te ofrecen laptops con calidad horrible, de verdad que la volvería a encargar de nuevo, no se calienta, estéticamente es preciosa, su procesador es de lo mejores, la memoria sí que no es grande pero a la vez siento que está bien para que el procesador pueda rendir de la mejor manera, igual ya existen los discos duros, así que no hay pierde, si quieren algo de excelente calidad, estéticamente precioso y con un precio bajo, es la mejor opción ya que cuenta con prácticamente todo lo necesario casi para hacer cualquier cosa, no tuve tampoco ningún problema con el envío ni nada, la trajeron de Estados Unidos a México y todo muy bien (dato: la cámara también está preciosa cuando hay buena iluminación y el audio es muy bueno, no muy alto pero sí mucho mejor que el de mi laptop pasada sin duda).

I absolutely love this laptop. It’s perfect for my daughter to be able to use for school. Definently a great price for a really good product. I was able to load apps and set up everything with ease and the speed is really good too. I would definitely recommend this laptop.

This laptop should perform well for most uses except heavy gaming or video/photo editing. Overall for $292 this laptop cant be beat. If it lasts a year I will be extremely happy. Time will tell regarding longevity.
Important tips: 11/5/23
*You must update the system BIOS as soon as possible as there is a flaw which causes poor performance on battery power.
*This item includes Windows 11 with “S” mode enabled. At the very least you need to remove this mode and without a microsoft account it is not straightforward to do so.
*Install Windows 10 instead. Use the Windows ISO USB media creation tool. Save an image of the current SSD drive.. create a recovery thumb drive and then wipe the SSD. Doing a clean Win10 install from a USB stick does not require a new license key! The Win11 key automatically applies to the newly installed Windows 10 Home version. Go to the Acer website and download/install all the newest available drivers for your model.
*Ditch (save) the power adapter and charge it instead with a USB-C – USB-C cable.
Pros:
Very acceptable screen quality for this price range.
Measured USB and NVME speeds are good
Decently built and should hold up to light abuse
With proper drivers the CPU/GPU seem more than sufficient for light tasks
Good battery life and seems to run cool with little fan noise
Cons:
There is no keyboard backlight despite the listing description
You cannot upgrade this laptop. Internally there is no spot for a second drive and as far as I can tell no way to increase the RAM.
The touchpad and buttons require more force than usual.
No page up or page down buttons
No ethernet or SD card ports
Hobbled Win11 OS requiring more than the average skill to get right

Overall, very disappointed in this purchase. I should have done more diligence, and read more reviews on YouTube and other sites before buying this particular model laptop (the A 315 24P in the 7320U configuration). It’s slow, sometimes freezes up with basic programs, and you can’t upgrade RAM, which really hurts. Very misleading descriptions and advertising for this product. There are several similar model options, be very careful when comparing.
Pros: Cheap, which is the big selling point here. Easy initial setup, boots quickly, lightweight, display quality is not horrible, decent battery life.
Cons: It’s slow…like really slow. I get stuck waiting to click on internet links, navigating back and forth between pages, and when using software programs…waiting for the computer to respond, and occasionally having to reboot. This is with plenty of space on the hard drive, also. The fact that you can’t upgrade the RAM is really frustrating,the 8gb dual chips are soldered on, no way to change or upgrade.
There is no backlit keyboardor touchscreen toggling, despite what the Amazon descriptions might lead you to believe. Sound quality from the onboard (tiny) speakers is horrible, even with my very low expectations for that. Super “tinny” and low volume.
Overall, very disappointed. Make sure you read eveything very carefully before purchasing, and research the exact model elsewhere besides Amazon before buying.

My other laptop for home use was almost toast so purchased this one at a great price for my area of searches. It’s great for me, a retired senior, and answers all my needs. Still working on moving over data which is slowed only because I’m “house cleaning” as I go.
I have come aware that the hard drive size is half of what I had before. Obviously I’m not very tech oriented and checked RAM but not hard drive size which has become an issue.

This is an excellent computer for what I needed it for. It works well with Design Space and my Cricut. You just need to turn off S mode. It is reasonably priced and doesn’t break the bank. It doesn’t have touch screen and I’m not a gamer, so I can’t say about that. Acer has always been my pick for a computer. The one I had before I bought this one was at least 10 to 15 years old and I never had a problem with it. My husband still uses it to surf the internet. I recommend this computer to anyone like me that just wants to use it for basic computer needs.
