I want to love this. My dog absolutely loves puzzles. She likes it and had a good time figuring it out but I can’t see this lasting more than a handful of uses and it doesn’t seem particularly safe without super close monitoring. My dog has used it twice and two of the pieces are already broken and the ropes holding the doors are falling apart. I watch her gently grab the wood pieces in her teeth trying to figure out how to remove them only to watch the thin pieces on the bottom snap off instantly. Don’t think i’ll be purchasing anymore wood puzzles.

They had it figured out quickly but it keeps them busy and happy for about 15 to 30 minutes. Would love somevsimilar but different options from this brand. It’s great quality and easy to set up and clean.

Das Spiel wurde gut angenommen und wird immer wieder gerne gespielt. Es ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und aus meiner Sicht gute Qualität. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es zum einen, weil ich mir nicht ganz sicher bin, ob der verwendete Lack gesundheitlich wirklich unbedenklich ist. Zum anderen verkanten die Holzhütchen häufig in den Löchern und die unteren Ebenen lassen sich aus demselben Grund schwer bis gar nicht an den Seilschlaufen herausziehen. So ist es oft notwendig, dass ich beim Spielen etwas unterstützend eingreife, da sonst die Lust auf Dauer verloren ginge. Ob es nur an der Technik unserer Hunde liegt, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Aber da beide dasselbe Problem haben, könnte ich mir vorstellen, dass es am Holz liegt.

I plan on getting more.
I have other puzzles from other companies too, but the ones from Intelligent Pets are their favorites.

My board just arrived and it was missing all the cylinders to put in the holes! Without that the cats can just move the pieces out of the way and eat freely. Barely an inconvenience to them. Not happy at all
Update: seller reached out and sent the pegs separately. Board works well now! Keeps our cats entertained, but still not great that it was initially shipped with missing components. Updated the review from 1 to 3 stars.

I do a lot of puzzles with my sheltie. Everyday in fact! My Intelligent Pets puzzles are the best! They are particularly well made. The design of these puzzles is exceptional and the difficulty of each can be adjusted according to the dog’s progress. They are more expensive but they are worth it. The birthday cake is one of our favorites. The dog must develop several techniques to solve it.
