This product started to chip the first day my dog got it. The head and tail are hard plastic material
that feel like glass and would probably hurt dogs if ingested. My dog did love this toy but I threw it away after a week or so be it didn’t seem safe. If your dog isn’t an aggressive chewer then this product would be perfect.

I order this for my 5 month old golden and he was attached to it right away. It is a little heavy for him to carry around at the moment, but he has no problem running around with it. He has had it a day so I can not speak of the Longevity or Sturdiness just yet but he’s already dropped it off the couch, down the stairs, and off the bed, so I’d say it is pretty sturdy

I have an 11mo Pitt/boxer mix (puppy tax photo) and he is OBSESSED with his alligator, this is our second time ordering it. The first time was November 25th and today is April 22nd, that’s how long it’s lasted before he made enough damage we considered it trash lol (as you can hopefully tell he made it through the rubber body near the tail). It keeps him busy, helped his teething and even wore him out after a hike as a cool down for naps. The rubber body is nice for him to chew down on while the head and tail are hard enough to help with plaque build up. We also bought the gorilla one which seems to be made of all hard material similar to the head and tail so I’ll see how long that one last.
Either way if you have a super chewer destroyer of all things nice this is sssooooo worth it!

Was excited to try this toy, and it felt good quality. However our labradoodle pup chewed off and swallowed one of the legs in less than half an hour, with the talk also looking pretty rough. Our dog is pretty rough on toys but had hoped that this one would be stronger than most, who knew a labradoodle could out-chew the hardcore chew toys?!

I’ve got a very aggressive chewer. He will tear through antlers in a day or two. Kong super strength… no match. All the supposed indestructible chew toys he has proven to be destructible within a couple days. This one has actually held up for several months. He’s definitely done some damage to the face and tail but it’s still mostly whole at this point. Only warning I have for others is that this is one solid and heavy toy, it’s practically like a rock. We had to make it an outside toy because he tends to toss his toys in the air or across the room and this one just seemed like it was going to cause real damage.

We have 5 dogs from little to large. It’s really hard finding something that one of them won’t fine a way to destroy within an hour. This toy has lasted months! It’s not there go to all the time, but gets used regularly. Please note that it is hefty and hurts when dropped on your foot.

My dog was curious at the toy first and didn’t want to play with it until I took all her destroyed toys away. When my dog realized she didn’t have many toys left because she aggressively played or tore it apart, she finally started playing with the alligator as it’s almost her last toy.

It’s well made but my half-lab- half bloodhound has shark jaws. Nothing holds up to him. It did take him 20 minutes. He just pulled and it popped.
