I am not really sure where we got out first octopus toy from but our doberman loved the thing. It took him probably 4 months to destroy it which about 3 months and 3 weeks longer than just about any other toy he has ever had, including all of the ” super strong, indestructible” toys we have bought in the past. I was fortunate to find this exact replacement on Amazon and he has been going to town on it ever since it arrived. Small price to pay for a happy puppy.

My dog LOVES this toy. He is a year and a half Goldendoodle, very playful, big teeth and loves to chew. I highly recommend this toy 100% Great construction, colorful, heavy material. And what dog doesn’t like a squeak?!

I have a 2 year old Olde English Bulldog and a 5 month old puppy and this is by far one of their favorite toys to fight over. The bulldog likes to chew on the same spot continuously so parts of the tentacles have ripped open but overall it has remained in good condition. She has torn through other toys in a few days but this toy has held up for the most part.

It didn’t last long, but it’s cute. Pups were excited to have so many legs to tug on! I’m sure it would be great for another, more delicate doggo 😜

I gave this 3 stars because it seems like it may be durable for other dog breeds compared to a regular stuffed animal -type dog toy. Also, my dog did enjoy playing with it. However, as you can see, not so chew- proof for our dog. The poor octopus lasted about 10 minutes. She is still “puppy”, a year and a half. She is a mixed breed pit, ridgeback, possible shepherd and who knows what else! 🙂 So, yes, she is an aggressive chewer. She is still enjoying throwing the tentacles around, and I had a fun tug-of-war with her when a few were still connected. I will try a toy like this when she is little older, as I know some dogs similar to her that are not as rough with their stuffies .

I’ve bought it twice, my dog loves it, but it doesn’t last with him, he tares it up within days. He likes to play rough and an extreme chewer so for me to buy it again is a waste of money.

At first I was thinking that my dog will be reaping their tentacles right away on the first playing session but I got it so wrong. We purchased this toy months ago and it is pretty resistent and also it is soft with my dog teeths. Pretty happy with this purchase.
