This product is priced accurately. It is cheap, and when you get it you will see that it is made cheaply. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I only use them while gardening, and they get the job done. The spring on one broke on the 2nd use, but it still functions. They are quite sharp, and that’s important. They fit in my hands well, and I have large hands. So I would say they are comfortable to use. The size of each piece is a bit smaller than I thought they would be. If you are really into gardening, you might want to go with something a bit more durable than this. They will cut as needed on small plants, or sticks but don’t expect them to cut through anything thicker than your pinky finger. ( don’t cut off your pinky finger ) They are brightly colored so if you set them down and forget, they are easy to find if lost. I would say that these could also be used for arts and crafts, so they are versatile.

As other reviewers have already noted, these tools are lightweight (important for someone with arthritic hands) and sharp enough for the intended use. One unexpected benefit for me, absent-minded as I am, is that the bright colors make them easy to spot from across the yard. No more trying to remember where I put a pair of metal shears with black handles that blend into the scenery. I set one of them down in the back yard yesterday while attending to a different task, and when I needed them again I just had to scan the horizon to see their bright orange handles. They won’t last forever, but for the price, they are a real bargain.

When I received the cutters the plastic looked kinda cheap, (they were inexpensive) but using them I quickly decided they are pretty good. The smallest pair didn’t seem important to me but they quickly became a favorite in my tool box. Sharp enough to cut heavy thread without tension, that is hanging limp. The pruning hook pair had pleasantly heavy metal blades, not cheap looking at all. Don’t know how long they will last… But, yeah, pretty happy.
