These headphones offer exceptional performance given their price. While they may not be considered “audiophile grade,” it’s important to note that such expectations would be unrealistic for a £14.44 product. The value they provide is truly remarkable. They are comfortable, lightweight, and fit securely without causing discomfort during prolonged use. The battery life is highly impressive, especially for those who prefer listening at lower to moderate volumes, as it significantly extends the time between charges. The materials used are soft and pleasant, though it’s challenging to comment on their long-term durability, given that I haven’t owned them for an extended period.

In terms of sound quality, the headphones exhibit a surprisingly balanced profile for a budget option. The audio is fairly accurate with clear clarity, and no frequency range feels excessively recessed or overwhelming. While they may not deliver crystal clear, silky smooth sound across the entire frequency range, such characteristics are typically associated with much higher-priced models and are unexpected in this affordable range.

The bass reproduction is not perfect, exhibiting some unevenness and undesirable resonance in lower frequencies that may affect the overall experience. However, considering the price point, this issue is less significant than anticipated. Repositioning the headphones slightly on the head can mitigate the muddiness. It’s important to note that expecting stellar bass reproduction in a £14.44 headphone is unrealistic, and these headphones perform significantly better than many bass-boosted consumer options without sounding tinny.

The mids are pleasant, generally well-placed in the mix, and not overly harsh unless cranked up to higher volumes. At louder volumes, they may become somewhat shouty. The highs lack crystal clarity but strike a balance between adequacy and excitement, maintaining serviceability without becoming painfully piercing even in busy mixes.

The soundstage is satisfactory, especially considering the super-affordable closed-back design. Like other aspects, it performs better at moderate volumes, providing a less compressed feel overall.

The headphones can reach high volumes, possibly too loud, when connected to a regular source like a phone, whether through Bluetooth or a wired connection. Optimal sound quality is achieved at a moderate volume, preventing the drivers from producing an overly harsh or strained sound typical near their volume limit.

A notable drawback is the default volume setting upon connection, which is excessively loud and can lead to discomfort and reduced hearing acuity. It’s advisable to turn on the headphones, start playing media, and check the volume levels before wearing them. Additionally, the volume control on the headphones is somewhat awkward, requiring the user to hold a skip button, making delicate adjustments challenging. It is recommended to find the optimal setting and make further adjustments on the device for a more precise control experience.

I got these for work, where my workspace is next to a communal gathering area that occasionally gets rowdy with the chatter of coworkers on break.
Easy to use 10/10. It synced so easily with my laptop. Turning on/off is just press and hold. The volume controls are also the skip/back buttons. The volume is a single press, and it’s a long press for skip/back – which is great as I don’t need or want super loud headphones so I can turn down the default setting and then forget about it as I can control additional volume and song skips via my keyboard (or phone, if I’m using that).
Comfort is 10/10. I have pierced ears and wear glasses and there’s no issue of pushing earring backs into my head or squeezing my glasses frames into my head and giving me a headache. They’re very solidly built and once you’re wearing them you don’t notice the weight that comes with well built items.
Sounds for me is 10/10. I don’t have the $500 pairs to compare to, but as my music has always sounded good to me – do I need to compare? I’m not an audiologist, I’m just a regular schmuck trying to focus at work.
Battery life is 100/10. It was 100% charged when it arrived. I listened to music for 8 hours and still had 90% battery life.
I haven’t really used the actual noise cancelling feature because I haven’t found I needed it. The fit/design of the headphones alone drops the noise level enough for me that with my music playing I can tune out anything else and just focus.
These were such a great value that I bought my sister a pair as a gift.

These headphones are really for the ANC and the comfort. The sound quality is too poor for listening to music, but it is just barely good enough for listening to podcasts or talking head videos. The ANC can only cancel lower frequency noises, like vehicle noise, HVAC noise etc. But it’s quite good at that. Every few seconds there’s a glitch that sounds like a faint cricket in the distance, but it’s not intrusive. Also has transparency mode (too loud).

Easily the most comfortable pair of headphones I own. Not sure how long the ear cups will last though, they feel a little flimsy.

If they could extend the frequency range of the drivers (and maybe add some bitrate to the bluetooth codec), these would be great all around headphones. As it is they’re still pretty good for ANC and listening to podcasts, and the price is a bargain.

It is extremely comfortable and the sound is good for the price. Takes roughly 2 hours to charge and lasts more than expected. The build quality of headphone doesn’t feel sturdy and only time will tell how long it will last. I wear glasses and this is the first headphone that feels comfortable. The base is low and connects quickly.

I love that these headphones come with a straight to phone adapter so there’s no need to charge the headphones or just when they do die. I use these to fall asleep to asmr videos on youtube and literally have them on with videos running for 6-8 hrs and the battery life still reads as 80%. That’s amazing in my opinion. The sound isn’t thee best but it’s pretty good. You can turn off the noise canceling and you suddenly can hear everything around you. The noise canceling is very good. Almost like putting in ear plugs quiet. So these might not blow you a way when it comes to the sound but a good EQ also remedies that fairly well. They are comfortable enough for me to sleep with them on all night. Not sure everyone would agree since we a are unique when it comes to our sleep standards. Sometimes I suddenly feel like I’m suffocated or claustrophobic and take them off quickly but that’s just my own anxiety that has little to do with the headphones. These are small and cover my ears perfectly. I imagine these would be great for babies at fireworks and live music events, for the size amd noise canceling safety for little ones or yourself. The price you can’t beat for all this.
