Got the two pack for my daughter and wife. Placed the 3M sticker/metal on the inside of their case, and you can almost throw the phone towards it and will stick. Ok, a little over the top exaggerating, but it holds strong. No matter the size of the speed bump, or pothole, or how fast a turn you take, the phone stays put. Word of advice, use the alcohol wipes and clean the spot on the dashboard where you are going to place the magnet. Too many times I see reviews about the actual mount falling off the dash and I can almost guarantee you it is because of the lack of preparation. Just take alcohol wipes (that are included) and thoroughly was the spot you’re putting it, and wait for it to dry completely. It will stick and stay in place forever.

I use this in a semi truck and its perfect ! My only complaint is the magnet, they made it smaller. My phone (iphone 13 pro max) is too heavy and moves easy. I switched the magnet from another phone mount i had (same brand)

It was easy to install on a plastic dashboard of my 2012 Toyota Prius V. In 3 days it started getting off the dashboard. I removed it and bought a Gorilla double side scotch tape at Walmart. Used it to stick it to the same place. So far so good.
The magnetic power is very good. I didn’t have to glue a metal thing to my phone, just placed it under the phone cover. It holds my phone perfectly.
