My husband got 2 dozen for my birthday. Absolutely gorgeous. Here a tip to keep roses fresh… first, cut at least a half inch off the stem bottom, then, run the heads under cold water. This helps keep them pretty at least a few extra days. These arrived in a box and I was skeptical until I opened the box and saw how lovely they were. I hope to use this seller again.

Bought this bouquet of flowers as a surprise gift. As this was my first time using Amazon for flowers, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but I knew Amazon had a track record of great service.
Here are my thoughts:
Flowers: Flowers were of high quality. Some minor browning (which I believe was due to the flowers not being open until 2hrs later), but plenty of room for a full bloom. While the flowers were not as big as some others that I’ve ordered, these flowers were significantly less costly as well. Like all flowers, the bouquet included a pack of standard “flower food.”
Vase: I was semi-expecting a plastic vase, but the vase was surprisingly well made. Glass in construction and not cheap looking. Better than some vases that I have lying around the house for my other flowers.
Packaging: Simple Amazon boxing in a long rectangular box. The flowers were packaged in a clear wrap and tied down to prevent movement during shipping.
Shipping: Surprisingly fast shipping. I ordered these flowers on late Wednesday and they arrived by Friday morning (expected shipping was scheduled for Monday). If these flowers were to be delivered for a specific day, I may have had to write a comment/note to make sure they arrived in a timely matter. However since these were a surprise gift, the early arrival was welcome. Additionally, I didn’t have to pay for shipping due to my Amazon Prime status.
Comparison: While I usually use 1800-Flowers, it was nice to have another option for flowers. As I love Amazon’s shipping service and customer review system, this was an easy purchase. As this system matures, I’ll definitely look forward to using Amazon Flowers for future special occasions.
