It’s a great idea and a very useful product, but after a few months the handle suddenly snapped off the winding tube (the part is made of plastic). I bought a different brand from Amazon, that one all-metal, and used its tube with the base of this one because the resulting product was more stable than the metal one when used by itself, and now I’m completely happy. No more fear of breakage.

I didn’t know what to expect with this gadget but am surprisingly pleased with its usefulness! Keeps the tube tightly rolled until the last bit of toothpaste, even when removed from the stand. The stand is steady and sits well on the counter. There was some trouble initially while inserting the tube into the stand (tube kept snapping out of the roller piece) but I was able to get the tube on. After some patience, it worked like a charm, highly recommend!
