I was skeptical at first, as I’ve tried a few electronic cat toys that were more of a gimmick. However, this one is very well designed, comes with a USB C rechargeable battery, and most importantly, keeps the cat very entertained. He has been playing with it a few times a day for a week now, no signs of getting bored.
It looks rather modern and sleek( kind of reminds me of Squid Games). It is pretty adjustable, in terms of speed and angle. Good build quality, no issues so far, at a fair price. Doesn’t make any noise. No safety issues either as the laser is weak enough to not cause any harm, but strong enough to be visible in daylight.
It also comes with a motion sensor feature that turns it on automatically for 15 minutes, once every two hours, so the cat can keep playing while you are out and about. All in all, cat loves it, 5 stars, highly recommended if you’re looking for ways to entertain your cat, whether you are home or not.

our cats are reasonably entertained by the toy. i’d prefer that the laser worked in a broader range – it covers about 90 degrees of floor space and wider would be fine with me. your cats will probably like the toy as well. the laser dot isn’t as bright as one of the hand held devices out there but it’s bright enough to get a cat’s attention. a decent device.

I recently purchased this toy and it has been an absolute game-changer for my cats! From the moment I turned it on, both of my cats were completely mesmerized. The toy moves the laser in unpredictable patterns, keeping them engaged and entertained for hours.

This is actually up there for one of the greatest purchases I have ever made. I purchased a different one first from a local pet store and it would only swing its head side to side and my cat would just sit there and stare at it.
But this one, is a pro. It has total random movements that goes all over the floor 180 degrees and depending where you have it on the table, it even goes up the wall an achievable height for any cat. Now with this one, my cat goes bonkers with it, my dog too. I
Another nice feature is that along with the motion detection, it also has an auto shut off timer to help prevent your pet becoming hyper fixated.
If you have a cat, you should really buy this. It’s the bees knees.

My cats love this, and they are a tough crowd to please, so anytime something is a hit with them I am very happy (as I scan the sea of un-loved and un-played with cat toys spread across the living room). I also have a “1st generation” model as well but that never really caught on because it basically goes in a circle, sure it changed direction and speed but in the end it just goes in a circle which was its fatal flaw. Not only are my cats picky but they are smart. A few nights of maybe 15 minutes of play was all the original one was worth before they turned their noses up to it. However, this new randomized version is a totally different story (so far). It truly is random and not just mechanical back and forth motion either, it varies the speed along with trajectory, sometimes even coming to a complete stop for a few seconds to give them a chance to pounce. The way it moves the laser point around is moist comparable to that of a fly, which they also love, I imagine for much the same reasons. I have noticed they’ve figured out the laser is coming out of this device and seem a little less enthralled with it but I just put it away for a night or two and they start screaming for it back. The automated on/off cycle of like 15 min on/2 hours off (or something like that) is a very nice addition too, making it just right for their little attention spans and their natural zoom/sleep/zoom/sleep cycle. Plus, the battery life is actually pretty decent. Just make sure you charge it ahead of time because it is slow to charge, like several hours. Let’s hope for a couple of years of play before the battery naturally runs down.

Best cat toy ever! I have 2 young indoor cats and regularly purchase a variety of new toys to keep them entertained. I’ve bought several rather expensive interactive toys that have held my cats attention for at best a few hours. This laser toy is an exception and from the first time I set it up for them, they have enthusiastically played with it. It’s been about 3 weeks of daily use and they’re still eager to play with it and will actually look for it and “complain” when I take it away for charging. The random pattern of movements of the laser makes this such a great design, other auto lasers I’ve seen/used basically just have back and forth circular movements which don’t hold my cats attention for long. The trajectory of the laser can be changed by placing the device at different heights from the floor (the higher the device is placed the broader/longer the range of the laser beam gets). It’s rechargeable and uses a standard usb-c cord. It does take a few hours to fully charge once it’s dead, but it holds a charge all day with repeated play sessions throughout the day. Another great feature is that it can be used while charging. I purchased a second device for my son’s home and all 3 of his cats are also obsessed with this toy, so unanimously it’s been approved by every cat I’ve seen encounter it.

Our Cat wasn’t really bothered about it, the laser just seems to move around too quickly and the Cat can lose track of it and get bored, even on its lowest setting it seemed to quick, it starts off slowly but speeds up very quickly, the robot did seem a little noisy too which was distracting our cat, might work for some but not us.
