I bought this phone holder because the screw that tightens the phone holder on my previous one broke. So far this one is much better. With a lot of pot holes and bumps we have on Louisiana roads, it’s been holding up very well. I also like the placement for my charger, it doesn’t bend the charger cord like the other one, even though it seems to be in the same place. It just feels more secure than the previous one I had. It’s been about 3 or 4 months now and I really like it very much. I placed it on the glass in the corner of the driver side. I haven’t used the vent clip or tested it on the dash so I can’t speak about how well it works there.

PROS: this is definitely more sturdy than some of the other ones I’ve used. I like the versatility of the stand or the vent clip. I feel like the adjustable clips will last a decent while. I keep mine open just enough to slip my phone in, to avoid using them too much and wearing them out.

CONS: there’s no good place to install this. The vent clip option is not ideal. The spot has my phone in is not really where I want it. I can’t swipe things away on the map or type in locations conveniently. Due to the angle of the vent and the fact that you can only put it in certain spots in the vent, My steering wheel ends up in the way. The stand and adhesive bottom won’t fit anywhere. The adhesive part is too big for any of the flat/plastic surfaces on my dashboard.

The build quality is very sturd and its very simple to put together. It clips your phone in well and it holds it in place. You dont have to worry about your phone coming loose from the holder and falling. When driving you also don’t have to worry about any vibration with your phone. My only complaint is when you clip it to your air vent it is very hard to get the phone holder to stay in place. It will move around when making turns and I don’t like that. Other than that this holder functions well and gets the job done.
