I’m a professional photographer and use a tablet daily. I needed to replace the small one that I had been using and decided to go with this. I’m glad I did. It works great, and it’s very responsive. I’m on a MacBook Pro M1, and have had no issues with the driver or functionality. Every once in a while if I am using a second monitor, I have to go in and change the active area to the second monitor, but it’s easy to make the switch and once I do it stays there. The pen is comfortable and easy to grip. The tilt and active pressure functions are very responsive and flow naturally. My only regret is that I didn’t go for the Bluetooth / wireless version. I have to connect using a USB-C port. So I might get a dock and leave it connected. That way I don’t have to keep plugging it in every time I want to use it. Overall, I think it’s a great upgrade to the small one I previously had, and I am very happy to have and use this one. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a tablet that won’t break your bank.

I saw this on sale, and thought about needing a pen tablet again because I’ll not be able to use my iPad Pro for long which has been my primary tool for making art. So, this is basically my first pen tablet I ever got from this brand. Before all of that, I had a Wacom Bamboo tablet (which was like over a decade ago).

I was almost worried if it would be too big to be a pen tablet, but when I got it, the size is great for my hands. I even freaked out a bit where the extra nibs are because they weren’t visible the moment I opened the package, but it turns out they were inside the pen holder. I wish the instructions would tell me that, instead of just pictures. The packaging overall was minimalistic and well-made.

I’m currently using Windows 10 computer, and the installation went great. I also love the shortcut buttons the pen tablet came with, but it’ll take time for me to get used to when I draw on the computer full time. The rubber part of the pen can easily accumulate dust, which would require some daily cleaning whenever I leave it out on its stand, but I have no problem with that.

Overall, this tablet brings me back to the days when I got into drawing digital art the first time. I wanted to get this deal so that at least I have another tool when I want to create my digital art again.

My Wacom Bamboo Manga graphics tablet recently passed away, after a good 5 years of use. I brought an additional 2 tablets while in search of ‘the one’, but they just weren’t what I was looking for. I ended up deciding on the H640P after a DrawingWithJazza video w/ promo code! Safe to say, it was one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I was floored when it arrived. The packaging is beautiful (minus a corner or 2 where the box got damaged in delivery), and using the tablet itself was incredible.
The only issue I encountered was one of quick fix. Initially, I’d struggled to get the pen pressure to work, as it just wasn’t registering. I uninstalled the drivers from my previous tablets, and re-installed the latest driver from the Huion website, and it seemed to fix it.

After just an hour of messing around in different drawing software, Huion quickly became my new favourite brand for digital art, and I can’t recommend this tablet enough. It’s extremely easy to pick up for beginners, and for long term digital artists to adjust to too. I’m already just obsessed with it, and you will be too!!

Used this to create engineering submittals for a statics class. Used Krita for my software as it is free, and my quality of work improved by a lot. Best 50 bucks I’ve spent in a while.

This was my first digital drawing tablet and I have to say I’m blown away. I got the H950P, it comes with Android device adapters, tablet cable, extra pen nibs, pen stand, a pen that doesn’t need to be charged which has 2 keys of its own, and the tablet which has 8 mappable keys. I use Krita as my main drawing application and managed to pick it up within half an hour. The tilt support is awesome, it’s a good sensitivity to pressure, and the working space is big enough to be comfortable. I would recommend getting a glove with it or putting some fabric under your hand for cleaner lines (so your hand doesn’t stick to it) but other than that the whole thing is awesome. It was also incredibly easy to setup and map the keys. Definitely recommend.

EDIT: Update after using for a week… the more I use this tablet, the more I prefer it over the Wacom.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Long time Wacom user here. And I mean LOOOOONG time! Like, I owned their very first tablet model and updated consistently through the years. Recently I decided to throw my Intuos Pro Small into the travel bag for working while on the road and not needing to pack anything up (other than grabbing the laptop). This Huion H950P was just a little bit bigger and I thought I’d give it a try as my daily driver on the desk with the widescreen monitor and secondary vertical monitor.

I am absolutely thrilled! If you’re on the fence just order the Huion.

Build quality equals or exceeds Wacom. Driver for Mac was seamless and works great. I love it.

ONE caveat… there is no “eraser” on the pen like Wacom has. I never once used that so no thing for me but if you need it go with the Wacom.

Anyway, love it and really thrilled so far. I use Creative Suite for everything if you need to know that.

So, for this review to help your purchase, you need to check these boxes.

– Do you plan to use the full area of this tablet? (if not, look at something like the H430, it’s cheaper, and smaller. have used it before, works about the same.)
– Are you on Windows? (7, 8, 10, 11, all works about the same)
– Are you ok with the hassle of downloading alternate drivers?

If you answered yes to these questions, then this review is for you. Let’s get into it.

So, all things considered, this thing is great! Pen pressure works, full area is great, very responsive, just all in all a good price to performance tablet. Now, thats about all good things I have to say. In to the nitty gritty we go…

The drivers suck, and they suck bad. Things have obviously been google translated and it shows. It “works” well enough for people just giving things a try, but if you are sticking with this tablet in the long run, the driver experience just isn’t there. A fix for this is OpenTabletDriver. Primarily, this is used by osu! players, however it has been optimized for most drawing softwares out of the box. Paint.net, Photoshop, Krita, you name it. But – this isn’t an advertisement on the fratures of OpenTabletDriver, so do your own research and see if it’s right for you.

Moving along, the nibs wear down easily compared to other tablets. It isn’t exactly the worst problem, as it still takes a LONG time to get through them all, but having to pay 20$ every so often (maybe about a year with heavy use in my experience) it isnt really ideal. But, hey, at least it comes with replacements… (cough cough gaomon cough cough)

Also – for the osu! players out there. Just get the H430. I promise you, you will not be using the full area of this tablet. Thank me later.

Anyways, I’ll stop writing now. Hopefully this helps someone!

Ciertamente es una muy buena tableta graficadora exelente para dibujo y trabajo. pero siendo sincero la Estoi usando más para osu! Así que por el uso que le e dado que es principalmente juego y en ocasiones dibujo diría que es demasiado profesional si la usas para principal mente para dibujó pues es exelente tanto o por precio acabado materiales diseño y todo pero repito la uso principal mente para osu! Así que en mi caso sobra bastante y yo jamás le sacaré todo el provecho pero en en general es exelente. Reaponde muy bien al movimiento y el software es muy intuitivo y sencillo
