For the longest time, my family had been using old pizza boxes beside the electric stove top, to set utensils when cooking and/or when serving food. After this recent holiday, I’d finally gotten fed up with seeing the pile of grease splotched boxes and decided to try these out.
✅ GREAT SIZE. the size and overall design of the plate is awesome. it’s big enough to fit a couple of different size utensils without and problems, and the shell shape not only matches the nautical theme of my kitchen, but also serves to be the perfect shape to hold many utensils that have wide, flat, or flared ladles.
✅ A DEAL: for the price you get three plates total which comes in handy when you are cooking everyday. when one is in the process of being washed, you have an extra; or when one is being used. you get a good deal for the amount and overall quality. but these aren’t without some flaws.
❌ EASILY OUT OF BALANCE: because the bottoms of these plates don’t have any “real” feet or wide, flat, surface to keep it leveled and balanced when utensils are in it, and hanging out of it, depending on what the utensil is, if there is not a deep enough angle between the ladle and the handle of the utensil, the plate will tip and rest at a slight decline, towards the handle of the utensil. these plates need more stability to keep from tipping any which direction. the side that the utensil is intended to stick out from, has a straight, raised edge at the top, where it would be better if there were grooves or indentations where the handles could fit into and rest.
❌ TOO LIGHTWEIGHT: these plates are made of a hard, and rather light plastic material. because of this, they weigh next to nothing and are very easy to slide, bump, and move around. the fact that they are also unable to stay level and balance at times, also has to do with their weight as there is nothing to serve as a counter balance to keep the plate from tipping one direction or the other.

》》》 IN SUMMARY: while these are still functional, and definitely serve their purpose of keeping a potential mess contained when cooking and using different utensils, there is undeniably, room for some improvements. however, if you’re wanting something simple, affordable, and something that will just get the job done, these will undoubtedly work, and you get multiples in an single package. not sure if i would recommend these for those that are constantly in the kitchen, always cooking, because they would need something more heavy duty, but these work for regular and. basic use. they’re very easy to clean, and the raised edges and depth of them, allow them to collect however much excess, and keep it contained. they serve their purpose, but have minor flaws. ♡

I missed that the description said they were plastic, that is my bad. I assumed that the trays would be ceramic though, as I got these trays for a spoon rest for the top of my stove.
The plastic is, well, plastic, so it will melt if exposed to the heat of the top of stove. Plus, the plastic is so lightweight that it cannot hold the weight of a spatula/ spoon/ etc. without rolling over. Non-functional as a spoon rest for sure.
They feel cheap, BUT, they ARE cheap, so I can’t say that is an actual complaint. These would be perfect for trinket trays in a kid’s room, as treat bowls for cats, etc. But as a spoon rest (as advertised), I am very disappointed.

I thought these were for spoons, but they don’t fit very well and they don’t stay on it. This is more of a knickknack storage. The colors are nice and you do get a five pack of them. These would work for a small spoons or utensils, but not full size. It somewhat match the description in the ad.

The ZRIFAQESW spoon rest is a 5.7-inch utensil holder designed for the stovetop, but I found it to be quite lacking in functionality. The small plastic plates included for parties and appetizers are not very effective as spoon rests, especially the larger ones, as they are made of cheap, thin plastic that tips over easily when a large utensil is placed on them. I also doubt their microwave safety; after trying to use one in the microwave, it became so hot that I burned my hand due to its thinness. While the design is cute, I struggle to find a practical use for it. On the plus side, it is easy to clean, but overall, it feels small and flimsy.

These are cute and fun for your kitchen. Easy to clean goes right in my dishwasher. It functions pretty nicely. They are plastic though so if I put a heavy spoon on it. It can tilt a little. Most my spoon rest pretty well on it. The size it pretty good for a normal spoon.
If I were to make one change I would maybe male them a little heavier to support heavy weights.

I liked the size and subtle colors of these pretty seashell spoon rests. They feel smooth and like light weight plastic-which is what they are constructed of. While not heavy weight, they are hard to bend and are durable. The shell design has subtle raised inside areas. Large to accommodate many different spoon sizes as spoon rests, they will help keep keep your stove top clean! I also find the shells useful for holding sponges, change, trinkets or condiment dipping dishes. Having multiple uses, its good to have a few of these pretty shells on the counter top and within reach.

I got these because I like the shell pattern and the blue and lilac colors are pleasantly different. I am using one as a spoon rest in the kitchen, but the other one makes a good dish to put underneath a plant when you don’t want spills. As a spoon rest, it is nice and large. The price is acceptable, although they are plastic.
