Simple, peel and stick. Be sure to alcohol wipe the smooth surface a few minutes before. and press hard after applying. Smoothly press in the corners down. Wait for 24 hours before putting weight on it. I did that and things are turning out good so far…Thanks!

The adhesive didn’t work for long on the plastic I applied it to. Seems like it would work well for sheetrock walls, to protect the sheetrock and paint from damage from the tension rods. But does not replace a screwed on support cup.

These rod holders really were made for the shower. If you want to use them for curtain rods or doorway dividers, they can work, but they may not give you the look you want. The semi-circle lips are mounted to a rather thin but strong piece of plastic that has adhesive on the back to hold it in place. I expect that these adhesive plastic mounts are intended for vinyl or ceramic tile walls. I believe that if mounted to a painted doorway or window frame, attempts to remove the adhesive may also remove the paint. But that’s just my guess.
They are clear, so aren’t a huge eyesore, but they are also shiny, so it’s not as if they are invisible.
Perhaps more importantly, these rod holders are designed to keep shower rods from accidentally slipping or being pulled down; they are not made to be super-duper strong. Even if a curtain rod may be weighted to support 80 lbs, these rod holders are plastic and are not likely designed to absorb that much pressure. So, if you’re falling in the shower and grab the curtain or rod, just don’t plan on it to hold.

While this didn’t fit exactly the way I had hoped, these were super easy to install and the dual sizes worked out perfectly since I had to modify my curtain rod I was using for my project. I have installed these at the top of our RV shower to help hold up a curtain that keeps the light out of our bedroom when we don’t want to use the accordion door. They don’t quite fit flush up against the wall because of the shower insert, but it looks like it will hold and will work for what I need it to do. I’ll report back if it doesn’t work for some reason.

Our shower rod slipped or fell on a frequent basis. It just seemed to work loose over time with use. I saw these and grabbed them. Super easy to install. Just peel the backing off and stick it in place. My only complaint is the small was too small and the big was too big. It will work just the same. Hindsight being 20/20 I would have cut the top off the bigger one to mount the rod about a 1/2 higher to keep the shower curtain off the shower floor.

I got these translucent shower rod holders for backup to the tension shower rod because the rod would fall down when too much pressure was applied. These holders come in two sizes to fit the different size rods. It was easy to set up; I had to use a level measuring ruler to make mark the walls to sure the brackets were even. The self-adhesive glue is strong and holds the weight of the shower curtain rod and shower curtain without falling down. The bracket clear color makes the blend in with the color of the bathroom walls.
