Broke my wrist and life changed pretty drastically. These things are crucial to everyday life.

•securing cups while pouring
•securing mail/packages for opening
Well, I guess those are pretty much its primary functions…but you would be surprised how much more difficult those tasks are with one hand.
I was thinking about the jar opener that mounts under the cabinets, but those are pretty hard to install with one hand.

Bought these ahead of my rotator cuff surgery on my dominant hand. They are wonderful! They are pretty sticky, so I recommend if you’re using it to open a yeti or water bottle, once you got it open, lightly put the lid back on so the liquid doesn’t splash out when you’re pulling the bottle/cup off the pad. I highly recommend!

I lostthe use of my left armand hand due to a strokewhich makes a lot of ordinary thing in life very difficult, but these wobderful,clever sticky pads hold a lot of things that you would normally hold with your other han such as opening bottles or jars .They really help a lot and I’m always discovering new uses for them .If you’re looking for a solution for adisability such as mine,look no further and order a dozen of these wonderful pads .Your life will be so much easier.

I purchased this as I was going in for shoulder replacement surgery and would only have the use of my left hand, which is my non-dominant hand. This device is so handy. I put one on the kitchen counter and one on the bathroom counter. it’s great in that you can anchor any jar you need to twist to open. It’s opened everything very easily for me from lipsticks to medicine bottles. It also has held my electric toothbrush in place so I can put toothpaste on the brush. This is one of the best things I’ve purchased for my road to recovery.

When the jar/can makes a good, uniform contact with the sticky pad, the pad can hold the jar/can steady enough to open without a lot of trouble. But, this doesn’t usually happen with a jar that hasn’t been opened before. In that case, it still needs hot water or some banging on the lid to loosen the seal. I’m still looking for reliable assistance with manufacturer/vacuum jar seals.

After having thumb surgery I found these little sticky disks a life saver. I could open and close jars, bottles, canisters, and coffee cups one-handed. I could also stir and mix in a bowl one-handed when placed on the disk. They are easy to wash as well. Highly recommend.
