I ordered a stirring wheel tray also, and this tray by far is the better functioning tray. The wheel tray only fits a smaller circumference wheel. I really like this tray for vehicle eating.

Purchased these for my senior aunt who needs some additional help during meals to maintain her independence. The side lip is just right, surface has a nice grip and handles are good. Little heavier than planned, but so far she likes it.

Everything is perfect about these trays. They are sturdy, thick, and easy to clean. The surface has some kind of a ridged design all over, which keeps our dishes from sliding around while we’re carrying them. They’re dishwasher safe, but usually all they need is just a wipeover with a sponge. The only problem is they aren’t large enough to hold a large dinner plate. This is my fault however. I should have measured! But we like them so much we decided to keep them anyway, since they are perfect for a smaller plate, bowl, and glass, or canned beverage. We thought we’d order a couple larger trays later, but so far, we haven’t needed them! Using the smaller plates also has the added bonus of helping us to eat smaller portions!

I bought these trays to use while I’m eating lunch in my car, which I have been doing since the start of the pandemic. These trays are the perfect size. They hold my meals (while I keep my drinks in the cupholder) and easily fit on my lap beneath the steering wheel. They are easy to wipe clean, and when they aren’t in use, they fit underneath the driver’s seat of my cars. They are sturdy enough that they don’t warp or bend under the weight of the food.

The surface is textured, but not grippy, as I would describe it. I wanted something with a rubbery surface, somewhat like a rubber cutting board. I will have to get some rubber material or something like that to line the bottom with. Disappointing, but not worth the return.
