I almost returned this because I could not get it to consistently charge. Then I started using the Apple charging cord that came with my phone and now it charges just fine. It does not charge well with aftermarket charging cords. With the aftermarket charging cord, the lights flash and it looks like it’s charging, but it does not charge so it’s best to use an OEM Apple charger or much higher grade charger than just a cheap aftermarket charging cord. I have only had it for about a week so I don’t know how long it will last but so far so good.

Just make sure your Iphone port is cleaned. There are tutorials on how to clean your port to make sure this charging case works correctly. Ours didn’t at first but once we cleaned it this works like a charm.

This cleverly designed iPhone SE case has a built in battery pack that integrally plugs into the phone’s firewire port. The first impression I had was how much heavier the phone felt with the case attached. There’s an outside charging port on the case to connect a power cord. I would say that this battery case is better suited for occasional use when you need extended phone life — such as for a long day of traveling or hiking in the woods. Otherwise, I think this case adds a bit too much bulk for routine daily use or stuck in one’s back pocket. I do like this battery case, but it has some size and weight limitations. I’ll try to update this review once I gain more information about extended battery life.

I have used the charging case only for a month or so and so far it works fine. I don’t know for how long it will last. My second Mophie lasted less than a year and was much more expensive so I decide to try this unknown for me brand for less money but good reviews.

Boyfriend needed a new phone because the charging port was giving him problems, he’d have to hold his phone in a certain position to even charge. His phone would also go from 90% to 10% just from watching videos. Anyways this product was a life saver. We can postpone getting a new phone for a few more months. It gave him a new charging port, and has 4 battery charges for when his phone dies mysteriously. This product is awesome. Get it! It’ll save you money and temporarily hold off buying a new phone.

This is a great item, especially for the iPhone SE that is known for having poor battery life. The integration with the phone means you don’t have to carry around a separate power pack, that also would have to be charged separately.
This power pack allows charging of the pack and phone at the same time, killing two birds with one stone as it were. It’s also comfortable to hold, though does add a significant amount of weight. The texture of the case is very pleasing to the touch, and it definitely seems like it will do a good job protecting the phone from incidental drops etc. The charge provided by the pack is able to charge up an iPhone SE several times over, certainly enough to last 24 hours in my testing.
The one downside is the included screen protector. While it is adequate, it does not seal completely to the edges of the screen unlike many others I have used and installed for friends and family members. I took one star away for that.
Other than the screen protector, if you suffer due to the battery life of the iPhone SE, I can’t think of a better solution, especially if you’re not in a position to replace your phone. Great item.
