Here is my honest opinion –
Quality seems good, so far has fit every tool I have without slip or balance issues. I’m liking it!

This pot clip works really well for me.
Pros: Clip style allows it to work with every pot I have. The claws that hold the handle work well most of my kitchen utensils. Well-made, no break down so far. No more dried sauce on the counter to scrub off. I do not worry about setting the utensil down on a possibly unclean surface. The style is cute, so it would make for a great addition to a gift set or stocking stuffer.
Cons: When the pot is on high or near high the clip does heat up on me, I have to put on oven gloves to take it off the pot. If a utensil is too thin it won’t stay, so i just have to be cognizant of what utensil I am grabbing when I want to use this.

OK, I bought this for myself, but it would be a great gift, something a person would not know they need but be happy to have.
I have a spoon rest, but hate to use it so I try to balance the spoon on the pan handle with varying success. This solves my problem. It also keeps food from boiling over. I frequently have to clean boiled-over steel cut oats off of my stovetop. With this (and the spoon about an inch below the top of the pan) the oats didn’t continue to rise. That alone was worth the price.
I am buying more for gifts.
