Cuts through veg very well and makes eating veg slightly more exciting, but I find on initial cutting of potato’s, the blade isn’t always deep enough to cut right through to the bottom.

Fabulous for my grand daughter when she helps food prep. The seller guessed just right the color for my kitchen. It chops veggies of all sorts effortlessly. Great for occupational therapists to recommend for people whose joints hurt from holding other kitchen tools. Amazing how safe the blade is!

If I had know the colors of this cutter varies I would have bought this brand sooner! I love my purple one (didn’t love the green one in the pictures) Joie is a known kitchen tools brand so I thought the quality should last (compare to other unknown brand of similar item) I am very pleased so far for this little gadget as my baby is a complete baby-led weaning eater! It cuts well, good size. The only thing I wish it has would be a little sleeve for storage and maybe if it was dishwasher safe would be nice. I hope the sharpness of this crinkle cutter stays good for a while! We will be cutting and eating all sorts of root veggies at this house!

I bought this for making pickles the blade is sharp and cuts easily, and very ergonomic. I did not feel safe in letting my child (5yo) use it as other reviewers but that’s just me and my kid, other parents know their kids best. For softer foods it would probably be okay, but for cucumbers where you need a little extra strength to break the skin, I wasn’t comfortable letting my son help.
Anyways, to why I have deducted one star, this blade would have benefitted of maybe another .5-1 inch additional length it was just barely the right size for my large/medium cucumbers. For something larger like a potato, it would require additional prep before it would be a good size for this tool.
