We use herbs so much in our cooking we decided might as well start growing them ourselves! This stackable planter has worked out great. We are currently renting and only have a patio without any grass that belongs to the property so this was a great option for us to start growing! It was incredibly easy to assemble and we love that it stacks and saves space. When pouring water at the top it trickles down to all the others (although we still water each part individually just to get every part), it also has a plate at the bottom to catch all the excess water that was drained. We can’t wait to have fresh herbs available and are thinking of getting another for strawberries! I do wish it “locked” into place better, it’s a little too easy to take each piece down – would be nice if it had a sort of twist on in the middle, like if it could screw into itself.

We really love this! Nice for our lettuce and herbs so we can rotate it and move it as the lettuce gets too much sun.

This arrived without the middle piece in the box so I was disappointed about it. I never sent it back but still do plan on using it. It is a good product.

Just ordered a second set of these. The first set seemed sturdy and large enough for strawberry plants. They fit together well and there is a hole down the middle where a pole can be placed to help with rigidity. We shall have a stack of 10 so I’ve added a pole.

Decided to try some vertical growing as we live in the north and I wanted to grow strawberries in our polytunnel without using too much space. 40 plants in a 40cm square space sounds good use of growing room.

I have enjoyed the planter not only for my strawberries but I also fit in a few small growing flowers so it’s functional but also looks nice! It was easy to assemble and a high quality for a reasonable price. I do have it sitting on a plant coaster so I can spin it around as needed so all plants get equal sun.

I like this product, because I purchased two of them, however after I planted, I realized that unless you put this item in a place that gets sun all around it, that one side didn’t get the sun it needed. So, I would suggest that you put a mixture of plants ones for full sun and the other side for partial sun or shade plants. I love the conservation of water idea. Pouring water on the top and just letting it go through to the other plants is awesome, however you have to put water in the first two tiers to make sure all plants get watered. This is a good sturdy product the plastic is thick and they interlock well with each other. The catch plate helps to catch excess water, in which you can reuse to put on the plants, however you have to unlock it and then lift all the containers of plants off it and then pour it on the plants and then reattach it so you have to lift the plants and put them back on it and lock it. It is hard to do it with all the containers attached, so I have usually taken the first 4 tiers off and then unlock the bottom one, pour the water and then lock the bottom one back in place and then put the other containers back on the bottom one. However, it was trial and error at first. Second, it is a good idea to over fill the boxes with soil or your potting mix and then pack it down, because I am finding that, because I didn’t do this, my potting mixture is coming out, and not covering my plants so I have to make more potting mix and add it to the emptying pots. I hope that this helps. I do think it would be great for strawberries, but again the sun issue is the only thing I want people to be aware of.

Excelente opción incluso si tienes un departamento pequeño y quieres hacer tu huerto casero.

Decent sturdiness, look cool, enough storage for plants, good color, function as they should.

    Smaller than pic

It’s a great planter for a patio. But not really efficient on big plans like tomatoes and peppers. Fantastic four Herbs

I originally purchased this to plant some strawberry plants. When it arrived I was kind of disappointed that it’s smaller than it looks online. I don’t feel it has enough room to grow four strawberry plants in each tier just because of the roots. I’d had established strawberry plants (vs just planting crowns) and the root balls were almost too large for the little segment for each plant. I ended up finding the large version of this on Amazon and purchased two of those for my strawberries instead. I wound up putting some strawberry crowns into this smaller pot and will transplant them in the fall. I appreciate that these pots can be automated and the design is really cool. I do hope the price drops a bit for next year, as I would like to buy more of the larger pots and at $60/pot it gets pretty expensive! I don’t mind paying for quality though, and I’m very satisfied with my purchases. I am slightly concerned that the small pot will not hold up to the harsh South Carolina sun and heat for more than a couple of years before becoming too brittle and cracking/breaking. I may end up turning this into an herb and lettuce garden, bring it inside and add a couple of clip on grow lights.

Bon produit mais un peu cher tout de même
