I have used these for many years to hold down the landscape fabric in my garden beds. These are well made and sturdy. Just try not to hit a rock or root. Lol

  3. ARK11938

  5. Amanda

    Large and very sturdy.

  6. Allena

We’ve ordered these stakes 3 times in a row. They’re way heavier duty than what you can find at Home Depot and cheaper.

  7. Dirk & Coopie

These are perfect for gardening or nailing things down in your yard. I used these to nail down my greenhouse because the wind kept tipping it over. They are very sturdy, rust resistant, durable, and strong.

Being an avid gardener dedictated to eliminating my lawn and replacing it with plants that support biodiversity, I often cover it with garden fabric and use these staples to keep it down. I used to use 12-inch stakes, as I refer to them. But that’s overkill, more expensive and more work if you happen to hit a hard spot.

These 6-inch staples are all I need to get the job done, and keep the fabric in place. I often cut “X’s” in the fabric to put the new plants in, and in this case I can use these staples to make sure the grass doesn’t extrude into the area I’ve cleared for the new plant. Sometimes I use small greenhouses to keep more delicate plants from the ever-hungry deer, and again, these staples keep the greenhouses tied to the ground so they don’t blow away in the wind.

I’ve also used these staples to lay coir matting aroung the 6 hugelkulturs I created in my backyard (again, replacing the lawn), and they hold it firm and neat, which is important if you have a neighbor worried about all the “crazy stuff” you’re doing in your yard that isn’t the typical lawn/invasive alien plants that are currently still the norm. (Not for long, with climate change making itself felt.

I use them as well when I stake new trees, or surround them with tall plant stakes and deer netting to keep them from rabbits and Bambi. I’m so glad I discovered these stakes! They help me make my gardening dreams come true!

The media could not be loaded.

I initially tried to go cheap on staples and purchased smaller, less thick staples. They bent and easily pulled out when trying to pull the weed barrier tight. THESE STAPLES WERE MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE.

    TIPS
💡 Properly securing the fabric will take more stakes than you think

💡 If you have landscape block perimeters, you can use those to secure the fabric and save landscape stakes
    💡 Use a rubber mallet
