I have a very old bathroom built in the 60’s. And an oval shaped recessed soap holder. This fit perfectly in the soap holder. It sticks out just a little, maybe a millimeter but looks and works great!

Reminiscent of a dental retainer, this soap holder is made of thin, light plastic with an exposed bottom that is prone to gathering moisture. Dove beauty bars match the oval shape, but fit awkwardly. Being that there is no solid base and nothing to weigh it down, this holder will not stay in place. There are too many crevices, making rinsing and drying a chore – especially the underside, which tends to hurt one’s hands due to the flat rim and need to really work at getting in at the smallest points. We were terribly disappointed and returned this item immediately.

I would have like these in clear but apparently they were not on sale I think. Holds full size soap such as the square shape dial. It’s great in the shower and keep the soap from getting mushy.

The idea of self-training soap dish is good. However, it was not executed well. It drains, but it’s hard to pick up the soap.

I like to have a bar of soap handy but HATE the way the soap goop collects on the standard flat soap dishes. This allows for run off of water after use and I have it right over the lip of the sink so that it can just run in and down the drain. The dish stays clean and the soap stays dry! LOVE.
