I am gluten intolerant and have known for a few years now. Eating Mr.Noodles was such a go to for quick meals or when your under the weather. Its been years since I have had it and I think after trying this product I have definitely found my substitute. I use 2 cups of water instead of one (just so I get a lot of broth) and I also don’t use the oil (not a fan of it). Other than that, quick, easy & awesome dish.

The best gluten free rice noodles I’ve ever had!

I love ramen but having to switch to gluten free foods made it really difficult to have anymore. Every version I’ve tried was awful. I initially bought a couple of individual packs of these Thai kitchen noodles with low expectations but I immediately bought a case. I now have 2 more cases in my pantry. It’s become my favorite quick meal, especially when I toss in a handful of shrimp. These are definitely staying on my monthly grocery list.

My ONLY complaint is that I wish the sodium content was lower, but I can adjust for daily intake throughout the remainder of the day.

Thai Kitchen Gluten-free noodles… these Thai noodles are pretty good. Having recently gone gluten-free, I’m always happy to find food items that are truly gluten-free.

These noodles are super-easy to prepare, and you can easily add so many veggies or additional seasonings to amp it up a little.

    Highly recommended.

I got these noodles for $3.54, or about $2.21/oz. Less than $4, and I knew it was a very small portion… but I am still really disappointed. I wasn’t expecting your typical $0.20 packet of ramen, but I was hoping they’d be a pleasant surprise at a higher price point for a single serving. I have ordered several brands, types, and flavors of ramen, rice noodles, chow mein, etc. and was looking forward to starting off my great noodle taste test with these.

The instructions say to heat a cup of water in a small pot, then add the noodles, spice packet, and oil packet, and then cook for 1 minute, stirring; then let stand for 2 minutes to let the noodles soften. Well, I did that — and the noodles were still hard as a rock. I put them back in the pot and boiled them for another minute as a last-ditch effort to save them, and while they were technically slightly softer, I found myself unable to actually bite through them very well.

As for the flavor… They’re garlic and vegetable rice noodles, with garlic, ginger, red chili pepper, green onion, shallot, etc. You can taste all of those things to a degree, but somehow it tastes less like a well-seasoned dish accented with staples of Asian cuisine… and instead, more like used mop water. It’s just a terrible, earthy, dirt-like flavor. It’s quite foul.

I don’t mean to drag these so bad, but I’m just quite surprised they are this bad. They are so, so bad. I’m a little mad at myself for putting these in my mouth.

I’ve been having these off and on in my diet for years. 33g carbs which is half my daily carb allowance and no other notable nutrients so essentially this is empty calories with a high carb cost. I still have them every now and then as a treat. They are very bland- jasmine rice has more of a taste than these noodles but they come with a seasoning packet and I like that I can choose to use my own seasonings if I prefer. I sometimes add plain Greek yogurt with a bit of soy sauce and Tabasco and that tastes like an Alfredo. Love these, I always have them around but I limit them to one or less per week.

I honestly was not expecting much flavour from this soup but it was great! The only downside is that the amount of rice noodles you get is only a tiny bit.

  8. Jessica

Easy to prepare if you want a quick meal. I added a couple of drops of soy sauce, and the soy sauce made it better than it already was.

Great little pack of soup. Wish it was just a bit bigger.

When I saw these affordable and tasty-looking alternatives, I snagged three of each flavor. Unfortunately, they don’t measure up to even the 30 cent ramen in the grocery store. The rice noodles got soggy and mushy, and the flavor and oil packets weren’t spicy. One of them tasted like fish sauce. I’m better off just buying a pack of gluten free noodles and then dumping a spice packet from cheap ramen on top of them. Maybe I just like all the MSG. Who knows? I don’t recommend.

These rice noodles are silky smooth and can easily be prepared in microwave, which I love. The flavor packet and oil pouch provided taste good, but I have to add more flavor to my finished soup, which is normal and fine. I agree that the price going up will not work for me, but this is a great product when it’s affordable.

  12. Ali

Being gluten free, these are the closest thing to ramen noodles I can find. Very good! These got me through college.

Low calories and lower sodium than the cheapo noodles
And probably the best flavor instant noodles i have ever eaten.
I have subscribed. Great fpr work or the kids
