The best part about this product is the amount of makeup brushes that you receive for the price that you pay. As far is quality is concerned, you get what you pay for. Certainly not the best makeup brushes that I have ever used, but also not the worst.
There are also a lot of different brushes included, most of which are not really necessary for the average make up applicator. I think I have only actually used one or two of the brushes in the package.

She has finally decided on her ‘go to’ set and I appreciate that this set had several so she was able to take a set with her to school and keep some at home. This set was inexpensive, sturdy but not tough, and the bristles did not come out like a set she was given a few weeks ago. I would buy these again and would use them myself.

I only paid $6 for 20 brushes, I already wasn’t expecting glamorous brushes, so I’m letting y’all know you get what you pay for. These brushes were cheaply made, like I said not a surprise there. 2 of them were already falling apart, the brush tip fell off, I guess it wasn’t glued on correctly, and the other brush the bristles were falling off after I brushed it against the back of my hand once to feel how soft it was. Out of the 20 brushes I kept 18, and I’ve trimmed or made adjustments to 4 brushes to my liking. I will say the brushes are soft on my skin, none of them were rough. One did come with some dry glue on the brush but I just put it under some water to clean it off; the brush wasn’t damaged so it’s fine. I tried them with some eyeshadow, and it did pick up the eyeshadow fine, blending was okay not the best but it did what I needed it to do so I’m fine with it. I like the variety in sizes and shapes of the brushes, that’s what I was mainly looking for, and I like the purple color. I just wish that they were glued on a little better.

The quality of these brushes for the prices is actually really impressive. Thus far they have kept their shape and rigidity perfectly, and I’m not gentle about how I use them especially when I’m in a rush, lol. I really recommend this set for EYES…every brush you could ever want for eye make up is there.
I wouldn’t recommend these necessarily as your primary foundation/face make up brushes, though. There are a few that I like to use as my “touch up brushes” to take along easily in a make up bag vs my daily use ones, but based on how I apply my make up at least, there isn’t a large enough brush to apply powder or blend contouring etc. There are brushes that are great for concealer and highlighter and the largest is great for applying the contouring prior to blending. It would probably work well for liquid foundation if you use it, I don’t so I can’t speak to that first hand, though.
The only complaint I have is that even before they were out of the package, 3-4 of them were in pieces because the metal part holding the bristles had detached from the handle, and just while handling them to take the plastic off, a couple more did the same thing.
To me, this isn’t really a big deal..I just took a few minutes before I ever even used any of them to just pull the metal part off of the handle (came right off with next to no effort on 90% of them) & just dropped a few drops of superglue on the handle and stuck them back together. Haven’t had a single issue since, and I like these a lot!
