Breaks up ground meat well, but may scratch pans. There is water that gets trapped in the handle after washing in the dishwasher. Also, there is meat that gets caught between the blades.

It really works! It makes it easy to break up ground meat. I have hand strength issues, and using a regular cooking spoon makes my hand hurt and never fun and takes long breaking up the ground meat. This worked and broke up the ground meat in no time and no pain.
I ordered the pretty color “blue” but wish I’d ordered the dark colored handle because it touched another spoon with spaghetti sauce and it stained it. I was unsuccessful removing the stain.
