This cutting board works out perfectly for my small apartment kitchen. It’s easy to store (narrow); easy to handle (hand hold + lightweight); and most of all, easy to clean (dishwasher). The cost, when compared with the other offerings, was very reasonable.

Order arrived in time and package was in tact , unlike other packages I’ve been receiving all month long .. board seems to be light weight but sturdy and I already like it , looks like I will order another real soon .

I purchased this not really expecting very good quality given the price point but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality when I received it and used it. I bought this for a short trip that I was going on so I didn’t want anything expensive or too bulky. This cutting board worked perfectly for my needs. I actually liked it so much that I plan on purchasing another for my home. The board is lightweight (but not too light) so that it’s easy to wash but it’s still sturdy enough to stay in place when cutting on it. I always put a wet paper towel or cloth underneath my cutting boards anyway so that might’ve helped to keep it in place as well. I read a few reviews that mentioned their boards were warped but luckily mine was very straight.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend.

I’ve always hated most of the cheaper cutting boards due to them being low density polypropylene that warps easily, even from just leaving them to dry on a rack. I’ve been using the cheap plain white cutting boards from IKEA for years now and handwashing them and dealing with the warping was just a pain.

My cousin is a professional chef and left one of these at my house by accident, and wow, they can really take a beating. They don’t warp at all, are super easy to wipe down/toss in the dishwasher, and they’re super thin, so they take up very little space on the dishrack or in the dishwasher.

I’d been looking to get a commercial cutting board, but they were too large and bulky for my apartment’s kitchen and dishwasher, but this has handily filled in the need.

It is very thin though and without the rubber/silicone feet more expensive cutting boards use to prevent sliding. You can use the old wet dishcloth trick, or, you can get a silicone baking mat and use that. I wouldn’t recommend the later if you rarely or never run the dishwasher, as they are a bit annoying to handwash, but if not, great way to keep surfaces sanitary and prevent sliding.

Update- still going strong months later, but stopped using because I bought and started using a very thin, high HRC (hardness) Japanese knife. The hard material on this tends to micro chip those kinds of knives. Otherwise, would still happily be using this.

This is a perfect addition to my cutting boards. It is very large and seems to hold up well. I use it mostly for chopping veggies. I am not sure how well it would hold up with intense use as it is very thin, but for my needs it works well. I like being able to chop a variety of items at a time and have the room to do so. I can prep a lot of veggies and have them all ready to add to a dish without a bunch of prep dishes around the counter and to wash. And the price at the time I bought this was great.

These seem to be just the right size for about every thing I’ve cut on them. Others have said they slide on the counter, I don’t have that problem, I have an IKEA woodgrain counter top. It’s not smooth so the board grips well. I think a bit of that rubbery cupboard grip stuff would fix that problem. It cleans up nice and makes a handy charcuterie board too. It is thin, but that and the dimensions make it easier to store. The thinness doesn’t affect your tasks. It is not smooth, in case anyone is wondering, it has a slight textured finish.

The Farberware Large Cutting Board is everything you need in a cutting board—simple, lightweight, and easy to store. It’s big enough for all my chopping needs but doesn’t feel like I’m lugging around a slab of marble every time I use it.

Cleanup is a breeze, and it fits neatly in my cabinet without taking up too much space. Whether I’m slicing veggies or carving up a roast, it holds up beautifully without slipping or warping.

Bottom line: If you want a cutting board that’s functional, lightweight, and easy to tuck away, this one’s a no-brainer. It just works!
