I was very skeptical of this gadget until I used it! This actually works. It makes cutting corn off the cob so much easier! For years I have used a knife to do it, but not anymore! Wish I had known about this years ago! Great value for the money! I should have given it five stars!

I have always pooh-poohed corn strippers. I thought a knife was fine. I saw a social media ad for a corn stripper that seemed to simplify the process. I came here to investigate and found this one. It works very well. You get even corn ribs that you can then break apart. My advice is to lay the ear down on plate or a paper towel, strip the corn horizontally then
use or store it. Also, clean it immediately after you are done.

This item was excellent for canning corn this year. Works better after the corn has been blanched, used a nail brush to get it fully cleaned. The blade moves and must be kept free.

I already had a corn stripper and it was OK. But when I saw this I decided the execution using the tool looked better. We Peel sweet corn and freeze it for use all year around. This peeler worked great and made the job go faster. We processed 4 dozen ears in one hour…excellent product.

Simple and effective. You certainly get more corn this way and it doesn’t get stuck in your teeth either. That’s not a dental judgement on anyone. yuk, yuk. For the price, it’s a great kitchen tool. You can take the Kernels off in long flat strips, add parmesan cheese and then roast or torch the surface. Nice change up from just boiling it in water.
